We realize the challenges inmates encounter when entering the job market with an incarceration mark on their record. Doors close, interviews dry up, opportunities evaporate. We also realize that many inmates are intent on turning their lives around to provide for themselves and their families. To beat the statistics, you only need a helping hand to be given the chance to start again.
Job Finder is that chance. Job Finder links inmates who are intent on re-entering the workforce with employers who are intent on helping them do just that. All Job Finder employers are aware of your special circumstance and are willing to provide you with a second chance. Participating employers utilize Job Finder to locate potential candidates for job openings they have available.
To be considered as a candidate for these positions, you simply post your employment profile on the site. Once your posting is listed, you can apply for any job by answering a few simple questions pertaining to that particular position. Employers can also search Job Finder for applicants whose listed skills match those that the employer is seeking.
To get started, select the “Register” category at the top of this page. Fill out the forms and follow the directions to completion. Make sure you fill out the form completely. State your capabilities honestly. There are jobs that match every ability level. That’s all there is to it. You are now on your way to a new beginning. Once you have completed registration, you can apply for jobs and employers can review your qualifications to see if you match their openings.
To apply for job openings based on geographic location or job type, click on Apply. If there are no job openings posted for a location or job type that you are interested in, posting your profile provides a chance for consideration by employers in other locations or who may have job openings in areas you may not have considered.
